Council’s Annual Report is a report to the community and other stakeholders about Council performance over the past year. This report contains audited financial and performance statements and information required under the Local Government Act 1989.
The purpose of the report is to focus on the highlights of the Year as distinct from the day-to-day operations of Council.
Local Government is the closest arm of Government to the community. East Gippsland Shire Council has tried, through the pages of this document, to illustrate to how their local authority is working for residents and ratepayers.
The 2008/09 Annual Report is available in a new online format.
Visit the East Gippsland Shire Annual Report 2008/08 website to view the full report including messages from the CEO and Mayor, General Reports, Statutory Reports, Finance Report and Contribution Lists.
